Provided by YP.comI give 0 to FPI Management. These people are corrupted. They took over as property manager of Montecito West in Redwood City this year. The on site manger gets into everyone's business and her husband spies on us for her! She and the property maintenance violates our privacy rights by entering the units without giving the proper notice. She also assigned our new neighbors (Mr. L and Mr. B) spy on us. They are stalking us. I called their office and they didn't connect me. This is so frustrating. Avoid them.

Provided by YP.comMy senior husband and I lived in Vista Sonoma in Santa Rosa for just 18 months. We lost our car because it was towed illegally by management and evicted because we didn't repair smoke detectors that needed wiring, thought that they needed to repair their building, and now they have blackballed us and we can't rent anywhere.

Provided by YP.comI have lived on an FPI managed property for four years now. FPI hires people with no education nor experience in property management in order to save money. They go through employee after employee. We have all new employees here about every two months. I lived on another FPI property and it was the same thing. They go through 20 employees per year, sometimes more. They get the property management contracts by underbidding other companies by hiring people with no experience so that they can pay them low wages, and then, of course, the people all quit. So you never know who is working at the complex, they don't know you, they are not happy to be there and all they are thinking about is quitting. They hire good looking young women, rarely do they hire men or older people. Their strategy is that good looking young women will get the apartments rented. Once they get you in a place, then they don't want to fix things and they have revolving door employees, and each one of course is scared cause they have never done this kind of work before, so they are snobby and have-a-clue young folks. So you pay them $900 a month rent and you really have no management, and they do any crazy thing and then they quit. It's really frustrating, but with the economy being bad, my guess is a lot of apartment complexes have overvalued loans they can barely pay so a cheap property management company looks really good to property owners. But it's horrible for the residents. No one cares.
