Came to my door right after we moved into our home claiming they are the "water company for our city" and waned to "test our water" since our home had been vacant for sometime. Ofcourse having kids in the house, we agreed and made the appointment. The representative came to the door on time for our appointment again claiming they were from our city. Once everything was tested "in front of my kids" and showed us how gross our water is, she hits us with a $7000.00 water system and states she is from Coast Water Systems NOT "our city water department". To be honest, we just didnt want our kids drinking the water after what they had just seen in the testing and went for the system but she discounted it over and over, she said it was a "one time offer" and so dumb us went for it at a discounted price of $4000.00. But nothing is too expensive when your kids are drinking gross water. We completed the information form and were told someone would come out the following day and install the system, she was there TWO HOURS!!! When we were finishing up, she asked for our social security numbers, I didnt want to give them I mean we just purchased a house and didnt want to run our credit again. She assured me "we dont run your credit, we only check the county data base to make sure you both are in fact the true owners of the home", I asked why we couldnt just furnish the deed of records, she assured me they could only do it that way. We gave our socials and assured our kids we would have clean water the following day!
The next morning (install day), I get a call from some other woman telling me my install had been cancelled due to our credit NOT passing the test, our poor credit was what was keeping us from getting the water system installed!!! I raised all holy hell because they ran our freaking credit!!! After asking numberous times NOT TO RUN OUR CREDIT-they didnt have our permission and yet they did just that! So instead we now have no water system AND another hit on our credit.
I asked the girl to have the representative from our house call me asap because supposedly she was "the owner" and I never received a call!!! DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!! Dont even schedule an appointment!
To top it off, their company website and contracts state they are part of the BBB, they ARE NOT! They are part of the BCA, not BBB, I have spoken with the BBB as well and they stated they have no authorization to have the mark on their contracts when they are not part of the group!
BEWARE, its all I have to say!

Coast Water Systems is one of the best companies out there selling excellent, top-quality water purification systems with exceptional customer service and products. This company values their customers and guarantees complete satisfaction. I definitely recommend this company!
