Great shop. Brought my civic with a mess of an exhaust system. He custom made my catback exhaust from scratch for great price in great time. Forsure coming back.

First off, great location in middle of town off sierra. Other exhaust shops are hard to find or in areas that you cant get to in a lowered car.

Was greated instantly without having to look for someone as with most shops.

Fixed the problem with no upsale pressure or trying to talk me into anything else.

Great price and great repair, didn't have an appointment and wasnt treated like scum when I didnt have one.

Good welder at a fair price but dishonest. I went to Gorilla’s Muffler like I have been doing for the last 4 years but this experience was different. I bought a car with a bad catalytic convertor but I had a very low mile one put away. When I asked if it would fit and work he said yes. It did work by the way. He said $50 which is good but the problem came when he tried to remove the 02 sensor on the catalytic convertor. He told me it was very tight and he needed to use a impact gun. He also said it had a small dent on it but I told him I just came back from a smog place the day before and they all passed but I needed the cat and a cam gear which is unrelated. He was holding channel lock plyers which are obviously not intended to remove 02 sensors like a simple $30 02 wrench or a $10 02 socket which he used on the impact gun. I knew 02 sensors were delicate, when I asked around other muffler shops I was told you never use a impact gun on a 02 sensor because they have a ceramic core which is easily breakable. I got home and went to check to see if I could pass the catalytic converter test and it did but it immediately kept on showing a short on the 02 sensor he said had a dent. I removed it to check it and it was obvious that I had just been damaged by Gorilla Muffler because the dents were very shinny like when you apply pressure on metal. I called Gorilla Muffler and the owner said it wasn’t him so I drove to his shop to show him how obvious the newly exposed metal showed it was him since no one had touched it for the 2 weeks I have had it. He said he understood why I would think that but it wasn’t him. He said I see the newly exposed metal but that was coincidence that it is broken now and shows an immediate short. This was no coincidence but a mistake that he could have easily been honest about and tried to replace it or even just offered me my money back. I had even given him an extra $10 before I knew he trashed the 02 sensor. Bottom line this guy does good work at fair prices but is dishonest and he would rather lose a long time customer then to be honest about a mistake.

Certainly Recommended!!

Prices were reasonable and all determined before the work began. Service was quick and smooth. Shop worker Cesar was pleasurable to work with. He even washed our car after working on our vehicle which was very dirty from sitting outside (cats were stolen a few months ago).. Outstanding service!
