Provided by YP.comWas told they had parts I needed. When I went in they did not have the part I needed at the price I was told. Which was no big deal I bought parts anyways. When I called to to buy more parts for same car I was placed on hold. When the call was picked up I was told to call back when I have time to talk and before I could reply the call was ended. I called back because there must have been some type of miss understanding. Maybe he muted phone and started talking idk. I call back and I asked why he hanged up the phone then I was told not to call them if I am looking for the parts at a better price. I asked what do you mean and the person said he heard me calling another store. What he heard was my counter man talking to customer informing him of the additional parts required. I informed him of what he heard And the attitude became worse. I was told he is to busy to be answering the phone if I am not going to be buying parts. I told him I was just in the store and purchased parts for two separate cars. He told me to hurry up and tell him what I want because he is going to hang up. They have just lost a customer and my only regret is that I have referred people to them.

Provided by YP.comThey have both English and Spanish Employees who can help. Mr Albert helped me locate a coil for my car when the other companies in town couldn't find it. I was also taken back by their clean store. Ladies this store has all the parts and help finding them that you will ever need. They didn't make me feel stupid, they were extremely helpful, and their prices are better than kragen and all the others
Thanks again guys

Provided by YP.comthis company was outstanding they stayed open late and assisted me getting a axle for my wifes car. There prices were 6.00 less than autozone and they had the part in stock. while i was in the store they told another customer how to fix their problem with out purchasing any items. This auto parts store is a throw back to the great old time when people helped people. i recommend this store when ever possible

Provided by YP.comI took the heads of a running 350 engine, worked just fine had no problems and motor ran fine have proof of that. decided to overhaul the engine since i decided to restore the car. paid $300 JUST to have them CHECKED, not serviced. After paying $300 they tell me YES they can be rebuilt, just have to change moving parts on it. I agreed, and paid $200 to have them serviced and rebuilt. so so far $500 total. $300 is alot to just have some parts checked, so i figured for that price the answer must be 100% accurate. I go to pick up heads, they tell me when they machined them to replace valve seats, it hit a water jacket. they show me the heads and show me two seats have a crack where it did. To me they overmachined them.Theyre fault, i brought in working heads. Then after they show me another set of heads they have for sale, said if i put $350 on top i can take those. So id be in $850 for stock heads when brand new aluminum racing heads cost about $600. If not, i walk out paying $500 with heads that dont work anymore, heads that when i came in they worked. The $300 check should have told them if there would be problems or not. they ruined them, now i get to take home junk heads and handed them $500 for nothing plus now have to go buy others. How do you take in a working part to get rebuilt, pay $300 to make sure its possible, they say it is then $200 for the job, then at pick up theyre no good, junk and ruined. then they try to sell you same type heads for $350? how is that?
Mr. Carillo brought two cylinder heads into us for a valve job (consisting of labor only, no parts). He also brought with him hi-performance aftermarket parts to be put on to his original stock cylinder heads. After disassemble and inspection prior to valve job, there were numerous problems with the cylinders heads and they needed the following parts. • 8 intake valves (thin). • 2 exhaust valves were worn (customer requested all 8 to be replaced). • 16 guides worn. • 8 exhaust seats worn. • 16 valve stem seals. (customer to supply seals) We called Mr. Carillo and advised him that there would be an additional charge for the above parts that must be replaced in order to complete the valve job and make the heads workable. The customer was called and he approved all the above parts. Prices A. 2 valve jobs $160 each $320.00 B. 8 intake valves $4.55 each $36.40 C. 8 exhaust valve $4.96 each $39.68 D. 16 valve guides $3.00 each $48.00 E. 8 exhaust seats $4.00 each $32.00 F. 16 valve seals $0 $ 0.00 (customer to supply parts) G. Freight/sales tax $23.66 Total $499.74 (Invoice #911451) Mr. Carrilo and his mechanic approved the above list of parts, and paid an additional $299.74 on 6/28/11 after the initial deposit of $200 on 6/23/11. Upon preparation for installation of the 4th exhaust seat, we hit a water jacket in one of the cylinder heads, rendering this head unusable. This problem was not viewable and not anticipated. The thickness of the cylinder head internal seat area is not known until milling for replacement of valve seats. This cylinder head had an imperfection from the manufacturing way back when it was made prior to 1986. We immediately informed Mr. Carrilllo that there was a problem and we gave him the following choices. 1. Receive a full refund of $499.74 (all monies paid) 2. Customer to supply another cylinder head for us to complete the work, with no additional charge. 3. We supply another cylinder head. Brand new $300.00 each plus rocker arm studs (new heads do not come with hi-performance screw in studs). Also customer would need to purchase two cylinder heads since the new heads are not the same displacement of power. Customer has had no further communication with us and has resorted to contacting the Better Business Bureau and Other outside agencies. We have and always have offered a refund to the customer and or complete the job at his request. There are quite a few inconsistencies with the facts. We don’t charge $300 to inspect cylinder heads. Hi performance heads cost between $500 and $700 each not a pair plus assembly (internet search today $691.87 each). The heads we located for the customer are brand new, not used and have a warranty of 5 years or 100,000 miles. His cylinder heads were well worn. If there was nothing wrong with them, as stated by the customer then why did he take them off the vehicle? Payments Deposit on valve Job $200.00 (inv#909336) Balance paid $299.74 (inv#911451) Total $499.74 We will still offer: 1. Full refund to Mr. Carrillo, 2. Bring a new cylinder head to us, 3. Have us supply a new cylinder head(s) to complete the job. Thank you for your understanding David Swedlove
