Provided by YP.comAbsolutely the worst medical facility I've ever tried to do business with. I took my son in for urgent care Tuesday morning 9/8/15 and we were seen around 8:30 AM. It turned out he had a broken arm. They said they would send a referral to an orthopedic dr., who would then call me to schedule further treatment (he only has a little splint wrapped in an ace bandage now). I repeated this back to the nurse to confirm that I merely needed to wait for a call, and she confirmed. That day, no call. Next day no call. This morning, I call Fordland Clinic to get contact info for orthopedic Dr. so I can follow up myself. Turns out they never sent the referral in the first place. When I asked why not, the referral specialist first tried to tell me she was not in the office Monday. So what? We were seen Tuesday. Then she said she only worked 5 hours on Tuesday. Once again, so what, how long does it take to send a fax? And we know we weren't seen after you left, we were there first thing in the morning. Then she said the Dr. at that clinic never verbally said anything to her, even though she seemed to have the information. She did not apologize or seem to regret the extra hardship my son is experiencing. I'm considering reporting them to the state so no one else has to go through this. I would not trust these people to care for my family, and would only take someone I wanted dead to this clinic. Incompetent and negligent.

Provided by YPmobileIf you would like to waste both your time and money then the Fordland Clinic is for you. I spent thirty minutes in their poor excuse of a waiting room only to be taken to a private room by a hateful "nurse" where I got to wait an additional hour before I ever saw the doctor. The doctor talked to me for less than one minute before saying I needed an x-ray. Thus began the waiting game again as another "nurse" came in to direct me to their x-ray room then back to my holding cell where it was another twenty minutes before the doctor came back. No breaks was good news but what was my perception? Take some Aleve and eat a lot of good food and the pain should go away. When my condition persisted and worsened I called back to see if there was a chance for some prescribed medications or ointments for the pain only to be told we will call you back. 2 hours later I had to call back and was then told by a hateful "nurse" that "we don't prescribe narcotics." Pretty sure I wasn't asking for narcotics but just something to get my pain taken care of since their over the counter remedy was basically worthless. Then when I told them this the "nurse" once again said "Aleve is an anti-inflammatory." Wow! She knows her medicines for sure. People skills are totally lacking and the other "nurse" doesn't seem to know how to call people back when she said she would, but at least this one knows how to read a basic over the counter medication bottle. Once again if you want to waste your time and money feel free to try their clinic. If you want results though, well I would look elsewhere.

Provided by YP.comOffice staff (front desk and billing) can be rude at times, impatient at times, or friendly (less often). Troubles getting through to the nursing staff with questions, a recorded message on their answering machine is a bit churlish, a call-back can take up to 48 hours. The medical care is excellent if you can make it that far.
