Fords Middle School is a learning center that has an annual enrollment of more than 600 students in sixth through eighth grades. It is a part of the Woodbridge Township School District, which serves nearly 13,400 students in over 20 schools. The school has a parent-teacher organization that works to foster close relations between the community and school and welcomes parents to attend meetings and participate in its varied activities. Fords Middle School also has a library media center that provides curriculum-related materials and a variety of free reading options for its students. In addition, it has a guidance and counseling department that assists students on various topics that include friendship and social skills, family issues, grief, self-esteem, anger management, drug abuse prevention, social skills training and career education.
