I have known these folks for years and have paid them a fair amount of monies for some minor issues around the house.I have heard the horror stories relating to the cost of projects but never encountered an out of hand situation as with them until today.I had to have an outside faucet replaced.$15.00 cheapo and my bill was just shy of $200.Never again,we do have other folks that can turn a wrench.I know these guys know their job but the cost of labor is extremely out of hand especially for Rutherford county retirees.Eric,we have known each other via business dealings by advertising and my hiring you for small jobs for years but this time I did not check my watch upon arrival of your employee and for a 17 minute crawl under my house and a cheap faucet that I chose...the 198.50 bill was totally out of reality and reason..I did not expect special treatment but was totally taken away by the charge this visit.We're done..wayne

We recently used Ohmstead and they quoted us one price and said it would take care of everything. Once they got there and finished running lines they stated it would be extra to actually install the sinks etc. We had already paid them thousands....we went with them even though they were pricey expecting a quality job but now we can't get any of the sinks to work and they did not even install cut off valves under the sinks like a quality plumber would do....ugh...don't waste your money.

Warning to anyone looking for a good plumber in or around Rutherford County, do NOT go through Ohmstead Plumbing. We have given them over a month to fix their mistake and they are still denying that they have done anything wrong. We had an issue with one of our bathrooms. We called around and got quotes. They weren't the cheapest, but we had used them recently for a busted pipe outside and they did a great job, so we decided to go with them. When the two men got here, they quoted us the same price as on the phone. They started working, then said that they would have to do something extra, and it would cost extra money. I specifically asked the man if they did this and we paid the extra price if this would fix everything(the sink, tub, and toilet). He said "Yes" it would take care of everything, so we agreed to let them do it. When they left they said that the sink and tub were still not working properly, but they had put some stuff in them that should fix it in less than an hour. And if it didn't to call and let them know and they would come out and fix it. Well it didn't, and we called them back and they refused to fix it for free. They told us it would cost almost $400 more to come out and fix the two things that should have been fixed in the first place. My husband and I have been trying to contact them for over a month, but somehow the owner is never there. Finally got to talk to someone this morning, and they were pretty much telling us that no one told us that would fix everything and that they were here for over two hours working, when we know for a fact they were not. The man this morning was so very rude to my husband. They need to work on their customer service skills as well as other things. After talking to others about this, we have heard similar stories about this company, yet could not find many bad reviews online. This is why I am putting this out there, so others will be cautious.

Excellent plumbing. A little pricey.
