The beginning of March I purchased a full bed made by IKEA. Upon getting it home, I noticed that there was a crack through the top of one of the two side rails. I contacted the owner and was told that he never noticed a crack. After getting the bed together, the slats that I was given overlapped …clearly not the correct slats for a full bed. Contacted the owner advising the slats overlapped by at least 2 inches (I have since measured and it’s actually 7 inches) and was told that the slats are supposed to go in between the slats from other side, like a jigsaw puzzle. I’ve put several IKEA beds together and the slats are not supposed to overlap or go in between each other. He requested and I sent pictures of the cracked rail and slats. Have contacted the owner for 3 weeks and have received 2 responses (the last one on March 15th) that he’s still looking to see if he has the correct slats. Needless to say, I’m not happy with this transaction or the owner….and will not shop there again.
