Susan Cutter offers private REIKI and THERAPEUTIC TOUCH energy medicine sessions. She became a Usui REIKI practitioner in 2005, and is now a Usui, Karuna and Holy Fire Usui Reiki Master). She became a THERAPEUTIC TOUCH practitioner in 1999. Both healing modalities are based on the concept that healing is a natural human potential, but that imbalances in the flow of energy ( "chi", "ki", "prana") weaken that potential. Reiki and Therapeutic Touch are accepted as contemporary energy medicine modalities by the National Center for Complementary & Alternative Medicine, part of the National Institute of Health. Both TT and Reiki treatments have been shown to benefit those experiencing emotional states (depression, stress, anger, anxiety, fear) as well as physical issues (slow healing, headaches, back and neck pain, joint dysfunctions or inflammation). Susan also leads guided meditation groups and has been a Certified Consulting Hypnotist since 2013.
