Provided by YP.comHorrible experience. Patient information is not private due to the HIPPA laws. I will never allow myself or my children to get out prescriptions through this pharmacy and I have had to hire lawyers due to leakeage of my personal information.

Provided by YP.comWe cannot praise them enough & such a caring attitude in comparison to the "big pharmacies" in town.
Their staff are highly efficient & will try to sort out any problems that occur in filling a script and getting refills out of your Doctor.
Two family members have complicated medical conditions & take a lot of meds, knowing we have a pharmacy that will help all they can is a huge relief.

Provided by YP.comBest Pharmacy in town! Caring pleasant & non-judgmental staff. Fast & efficient! I'm on a heavy dose of methadone for chronic pain. When every other pharmacy in town rejected me, one by one, Coast Pharm came through. Safeway, CVS, Rite Aid, Fort Bragg pharm.... all to scared to serve me.

Provided by YP.comMendocino Coast Pharmacy is the Fort Bragg outreach of Mendocino Village Pharmacy, which has served the coast faithfully for a number of years.
Other pharmacies in Fort Bragg (Safeway, CVS) are big box store departments and although they are mostly manned by very committed and competent employees, the system they work under does not facilitate the personal contact and care that is the foundational philosophy of MCP.
I am a CAD (coronary artery disease) and COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder) patient with a number of other complaints ranging from arthritis to Reynaud's syndrome, with many stops along the way. I have to take prescription meds by the handful and I never received anything much more than black box label warnings from pharmacists until hooking up with MCP.
I am a new client (the Fort Bragg Pharmacy opened just last month) but so far it's been a revelation. I understand my meds and their effects (and side effects) so much better. And I feel that someone is now monitoring them in a professional way that simply was not happening before.
I am lucky to have good medical insurance with prescription coverage. Copays are the same, so my out of pocket cost for this superior service is zero. The facility is convenient to the hospital and clinics (though not to the main FB shopping areas.) The staff is friendly and helpful, with great access to the pharmacist, who seems to be top-notch. MCP is the first and only compounding pharmacy in town (meaning that they can make up medication at doctor's orders, not simply take meds from off the shelf.) From experience serving the Village Pharmacy in Mendocino, the pharmacist is on a first-name basis with most of the doctors and prescribers in the area. She is able to get through directly for clarification
I would absolutely recommend Mendocino Coast Pharmacy to friends and would encourage anyone with a somewhat complicated regimen like mine to switch over to this highly professional and personal service.
