I find the environment at Barnes & Noble to be very pleasant and well worth the trip. I go to Barnes & Noble almost every day to have lunch at their cafe, which has delicious food and beverages, and I love to sit and read, love to browse, and yes their prices are higher that used book stores or eBooks, but to me it's worth it to have quality books and quality in-person service.
