This is a wonderful preschool. Parents help out once or twice per month which helps reduce the cost, and it's so fun to be in the classroom with your child! The staff are fantastic and really have what's best for the kids in mind. Very play-centered which research shows is the best academic stimulation for this age group. I would recommend this preschool to any one in a heartbeat!

This is truly an amazing school. Making the decision to go to preschool was a difficult one. The staff put my mind at ease with their kindness and dedication. I encourage you to visit and take a tour to see for yourself. These are the days they will never forget . . .painting and getting messy!

Our family moved to Fort Collins in Summer of 2010 after the pre-school sign up dates, and I was scrambling to find a good fit for us. Fortunately, we were granted a place mid-summer of 2010 off of the waiting list--and I have been grateful ever since. It's been my experience that the community of parents, teachers, director, and board personnel are incredibly supportive, engaging, courteous and kind. This preschool allows plenty of time for my child to "just be a kid," through unstructured and creative play. Likewise, the routine and discipline put in place at the school allows my child to grow and adapt to the latent learning of such simple tasks of putting away her things, hanging up her coat, or just simply retrieving a paper towel for herself when she spills something at snack time--it doesn't sound like a lot, but a pre-schooler who can dress for winter weather ALL BY HERSELF is a pretty big deal. As a parent, I love to opportunity to be in the classroom, to meet fellow parents and to get to know the children my daughter learns alongside. Communication between teacher and parent has been good, and I have never lacked for a prompt response from the teachers or the director. Overall, this is a great school!

My family is fortunate enough to have had 2 years attending this preschool and many more to come. I wouldn't want our family to be anywhere else. The teachers and director are some of the best I've seen, compassionate, attentive, nurturing and respectful of ALL our families. Love this school!!!!

Wow, I was very emotional about putting my son in a school, he was with me for so long I struggled to share him. I did well choosing this program. They work so closely with the families, communication was wonderful! Now my daughter goes to the school, our family has been there 2 years now and I could not imagine a better place for my kids. I feel this program puts children first, involves parents in such a special way and makes everyone at ease!! I will always support this school and encourage people to join this program. it is a very great place to be.

First of all,I'm going to let it be known, it's not often that I write a poor review. However, my heart strings have been tugged and I can't walk away from here without stating my opinion. We are a military family (husband was recently deployed at the time my child attended) The teacher my daughter had lacked empathy. On one occasion, the class had to write a letter toDAD asking him to come to dad and me night.. My child had to take part in this activity ( the teacher was well aware father was overseas).. Being the mother I was left to pick up the pieces at the end of the day and explain to heartbroken child why her Dad couldn't attend "dad and me" night. I emailed the teacher on three different occasions and never received a response back. Communication is everything, especially when a child is involved. My child is now attending a wonderful preschool (in which I will be writing a excellent review for). Please, if you're a military family go elsewhere.

I 'm just amazed of all the love and care the my son recieved at this preschool. Most of the teachers knew him by name and always say hi to him and hugged him, including the coordinator. My son loved everyday he went here. I love the fact that I got to work in his classroom and got to know his teacher well and his classmate. This place felt like a second home.I love this place and would recommed it to anyone looking for a loving and friendly place for a preschool.

Both of my daughters went to FUMCP for a total of 4 years. It was a wonderful experience. The teachers and director are caring and great with the children. I loved helping in the classroom. I was able to get to know the other children, the teacher, and the other parents. I loved being involved with my daughters education. It was amazing to watch my daughters learn as they played. Sometimes I did not even realize that the activity was teaching them since they were having such a good time. When they went to kindergarten they were both prepared and excited to learn.

I couldn't ask for a better preschool for our 4-year-old. FUMCP provides a nuturing environment and her teacher and the director truly care about our family. Our daughter's experiencing all kinds of new things and looks forward to preschool each day. I love being part of a parent co-op and recommend this preschool to all my friends with preschool-age children.

This is my fourth year at FUMCP. Both my daughters, although extremely different, have had wonderful experiences. They gained self esteem, independence and had tremendous teachers who go the extra 10 miles to ensure a happy preschool child! The parent involvement is great and the diversity is an extra bonus. Love it!

What an amazing preschool for my daughter to have started her learning experiences! This is her second year here and we couldn't be happier. She has loved both of her classroom teachers and her creative movement teacher as well. It is such a family environment - we've both made some great friendships. I've really loved being able to be so involved in her classroom!

This is our third year at the First United Methodist Co-op Preschool, and I can't say enough wonderful things about it. The teachers are phenomenal, and not only has my child learned from them, but I have as well! It is a welcoming place to be, and a wonderful community to be a part of. The director is extremely approachable, they have a Creative Movement program (where they even learn yoga!), and the co-op experience is amazing. I love being able to be a part of my child's preschool experience. The preschool also offers childcare options so my younger son has a place to go if I am in the classroom. So glad we ended up here!
