do I expect too much?

this company installed two top of the line garage doors on my new home 4 years ago. on Tuesday, the bracket that holds the spring assist rod to the wall pulled out. One of the bolts pulled out and the other broke off.

I called the company expecting them to fix it no charge. I spoke to the front line and then to management. they wanted to come out and fix it, but they wanted to charge a service call. I told them I felt that wasn't good customer service and I wouldn't be giving them the service business or any future installation business. I don't recommend them.
