This is the Energizer Bunny of Fort Collins Restaurants. It just goes on and on and on... Unfortunately, you will get better Mexican (or Tex-Mex) food just about anywhere. Most seems like Stouffer's frozen entrees with canned vegetables and rice courtesy of a junior high cafeteria. The Rio survives on tradition and margaritas. Period. Now that Fort Collins is moving into a much more interesting restaurant age, the Rio has been left behind. Interestingly, though, the owners have opened El Monte and it is everything the Rio is not. Sleek, sophisticated- and wonderful food. Highly recommended!

Provided by YP.comthe margs are absoutely top notch! and so are the crowds. fun fun fun! i also think the food is miles beyond any mexican food i've had, save a couple of fine joints in vegas. this is THE place for a great time and great foods, best salads ever too.

Provided by YP.comI do not understand the hype. Are the margs from a mix? I know they are strong.
