We visited Taps to enjoy their happy hour. We ordered a happy hour chili cheese fries and although the menu didn't list onions as an ingredient we asked our waitress if it had onions on it. She told us no, but when the fries arrived at the table the fries had onions. We told her that we couldn't eat them and she took them back. She returned later with fries cooked as the menu described and we asked for our check at that time. I have worked in the food industry for 15 plus years and was thoroughly disappointed when we were charged for our fries after we had clearly asked if a certain ingredient was on this item. So when the waitress came back I expressed that I was disappointed . She took the bill and moments later the "manager" came out. "I hear you have a problem with your bill." At which we proceeded to explain the story. What was so unbelievable to me was how this manager handled the situation. She clearly could use more training. The first rule of any food service manager is not to argue with the customer. After we told her the situation she responded with "We put garnish on most of our items parsley, onions that type of thing" At this point I realized what I said made no difference. I told her I would pay for the 4 dollar cheese fries. I just wanted them to know that I was disappointed.I have been in here several times and have had a problem all, but one time. The difference was that on those other occasions that managers actually handled the situation perfect and I kept coming back. I will no longer go to this establishment being that there are so many other restaurants here in Fort Collins that offer better food, better service/staff.

Provided by YP.comIf you haven't been here yet you need to try it. Be sure to try the black and tan onion rings and the amazing buffalo burger. They use local Colorado meat and grind, season and make all of the burger patties in house.

Provided by YP.comGreat beer selection! The staff was friendly and they knew their beer. I tried the Ruben and it was the best Ruben I have had in a long time. I will have to come back and try more of the menu because I like what I have had thus far. I was kind of sad to see the old place go as I had fond memories but I think I will like Taps better.

Provided by YP.comMy wife has the Buffalo chicken salad and she thought it was great. The remodel and new decor look great. Walking in and seeing those forty beers was a pretty cool sight to see. I enjoy a Racer 5 with the meal, it's a great beer if your a IPA lover.
