I am incredibly disappointed. We recently moved into a new home and purchased several pieces from Slumberland, and had good customer service. When it came time to purchase furniture for our living room, we searched for that "just right" piece and found a sectional that we loved. I received a coupon in the mail that stated we could receive 20% off the lowest tagged price of one furniture or accessory item, including sale prices. All discounts excluded HOT BUYS, as is items, special purchases, and room packages. The item we were interested in was listed on sale, but was not in the exclusions. We attempted to purchase it with our coupon, but they refused to honor the coupon, stating that the item was on sale already. I pointed out that the coupon clearly stated that it was 20% off the lowest tagged price, including sale items. They continued to refuse to honor it. Why send out coupons if you're not willing to honor them? It's dishonest and misleading. It comes off as false advertisement; which is illegal. I love the sectional and would love to own it; it's perfect for our home. But do I purchase an item when I am disgusted with the ethics of this company and I don't feel like they deserve business?
