My friends and I chose to have lunch at Andy's because we heard it was good. Only 4 customers were there when we arrived. The restaurant is attractive and the bartender was very friendly and welcoming. That's as far as a pleasant experience went. I ordered the fish and chips which was greasy and had a heavy batter with a gooey taste because it was under cooked. One friend ordered their version of a French dip. The au jus was excellent but the meat wasn't even room temperature; it was cold!! Another friend ordered the skirt steak with chimichurri sauce. The sauce was good but the steak was cool and tough; the green beans were cold!! We asked to speak with the manager because we felt the restaurant should be made aware of any problems. We did not want any other food; we weren't asking to have the food removed from our check. I have never encountered such uncaring management, and there were three of them present!!!! We were told by a female manager that the fish batter is the signature batter and it will not change! OK--we were simply letting them know that it was not fried properly. There was no thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention nor any hint of an apology for our unpleasant experience. As we were leaving, one of the male managers did open the door for us. My friend commented to the other male manager that our food was horrible. He responded that at least they were consistent and he'd see us next week! He will definitely NOT see us next week. There were only 3 customers there when we left! That's not a good sign for a new restaurant!
