I moved to here 12 months ago. I do not know any contractors. We purchased a house during December of 2017. The pool was 40 years old and in desperate need of refinishing. It was structurally sound but nasty looking. Why did I pick Mike Ruben and Bella pools? Most people look for positive reviews. I on the other hand look at the negative reviews. I want to see what a contractor does if things didn't go 100%. No job goes flawlessly! I want to know what a contractor does for follow up on the things that need attention at the conclusion of work.
Mike's negative review shows his commitment to follow up until the job is done right. He engaged in significant Courteous communication with someone who wasn't happy. Mike continued the communication until he exhausted all resources.
I decided to hire Mike to refinish my pool. Let me start by saying that his employees are not pool re finishers. They are in fact artists and craftsmen. My pool looked like junk before they started work. When they were finished my pool looked spectacular like a new pool. He followed up the next day and came out to check the chemicals give me instructions and do any finish work necessary. 2 days later my pool started losing water. I called Mike he came over instantly. We identified the leak at the skimmer which is a common leak in older pools. Mike sealed that leak and again the next day the pool was losing water. I called Mike in a panic and this time he sent over an expert pool leak repair specialist. John arrived with pressure testing equipment, electronic audible sound leak detection equipment and he went to work. John said it's typical for a 40 year old pool like mine to have numerous leaks at fittings like lights, skimmers, corners and tile seams. There were no structural cracks anywhere. John dove in and dye and sound tested for leaks.
Not only did Mike instantly resolve my problems, he paid the expert out of his own pocket. What else is there to say? Thanks Mike

Bella Pools of South Florida did an amazing job on re-surfacing our over size pool.They are professional and completed the job on time as they said they would.We saw many companies and Bella pools of South Florida were the only one that wanted to save our horse head mosaic which is the feature of our pool. and it came out beautiful.We are enjoying the new color changing LED lights which are amazing.We highly recommend this company and didn't have to pay up front until job was completed which gave us peace of mind.Thank you Micheal.

We have to express our gratitude to michael and staff. Our 14 year old pool that looks better today then it did all those years ago. The men that worked on our pool in 90 degree temperatures were polite, clean, and amazing professionals at their craft. It was so refreshing in this day and age to watch people that really, really cared about the job they were doing. We would be proud to recommend this company to anyone interested in redoing their pool area. Positive word of mouth is better than any written advertisement. All the best of luck to Michael and thank you for a totally stress free renovation, so very rare these days.

My husband and I were looking for a company to re surface our swimming pool. It did not appear to be in terrible shape but it was about 20 years since we last had it completed and the pool light and steps were in need of repair. We called about six different pool companies, some wanted to redo perfectly good tile and another wanted us to reopen and old drain which was sealed off due to a previous problem, yet another wanted to sell us a complete new filtration system claiming ours was not big enough. I was very impressed with Mike from the start. Needless to say, Mike was truthful in what we needed and what we did not need; he even tried to save our steps but they were too far gone. He quoted us a very fair price and when the workers (very clean) came out, they found a couple of cracks no one saw and a large hole near our light and fixed them at no extra charge. He, himself came out to drain the pool for day 1 and his workers completed the pool the second day. It took 2 days to refill our pool- low water pressure but he was here every day and answered all of my questions. The pool looks fantastic and I did not need all the extras which all the other pool companies were trying to convince me of. I do have some pool management experience so I was not easily swayed.PS the whole process was done before Christmas! I would highly recommend Bella Pools. Thank you

The staff is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and timely. We could not have asked for a better outcome... our pool looks amazing! To top if off, the entire process was smooth and painless. Had a great experience with Michael, my wife called 3 companies to give us quotes, one did not show up, and the other sent us our estimate after several request, Michael came out when he said he would, had a estimate to us the same day! I told him if his guys were as sharp as he was we would be in good shape. I must say this is one good company. My pavers looks great, my pool looks great and they completed the project on schedule, (this is huge for us) as we are doing a lot of remodeling in our house so timing was key. Great work!

We contracted with Bella Pools in Sept. 2014 and we could not be happier with the finished project! Mike and Crew did a awesome job to install a new travertine pool deck, refinish diamond brite and install waterline tiles. The also installed a new salt water filtration system. Scope of work was completed on schedule and cost. Mike is honest and knowledgeable and did everything possible to ensure 100 % customer satisfaction. Blown away by Bella Pools and the fantastic job they did for us! We are thoroughly pleased with the re-tiling and resurfacing of our pool. The price and timeline were better than any other proposal and the pool was completed exactly as and when promised. Michael explained the process step-by-step so we knew what to expect. He responded immediately to our questions and addressed all issues with speed and dispatch. The work crews were prompt and professional and willing to do anything to make sure we were completely satisfied. They left us with a beautiful pool and cleaned up thoroughly when they finished. Michael with Bella Pools came out and gave us an estimate to resurface our old pool. with the need to keep/save a 6 foot mosaic sailfish. We left for the weekend and came back and IT WAS Finished!!!! Mike's team even fixed a few tiles on the side of the pool, at no cost. It came out beautiful. would have no qualms in highly recommending this company. Mike was true to his word!

Bella pools just finished remodeling our pool and I have to say, my wife and I are so impressed with this company. Words cannot express my sincere gratitude to Micheal and his staff, I purchased my house with my husband in 1974 and his dream was to always remodel the backyard, but none the less the cost was very expensive, going on two years ago my husband passed away and i told my son that one day we need to remodel the patio and pool because that was your fathers dream. About a year ago our pool started leaking and we were filling it up three times a week, our water bill kept getting higher and higher, we tried to higher a leak detection company but all they kept saying is we need to market our pool. In October this nice young man came over to give me and my son our estimate to do pavers and to do the tile and pool and of course the leak. I must say when micheal came over he was very sweet and explained everything to us, the process, the cost and so on, and we told him we would be in contact within two weeks. We did get two other estimates; 1) too expensive 2) the sales guy was very pushy. We ended up signing with Bella Pools. The entire project took about two weeks to complete, micheal was on top of the job all the way until it was complete. He ended up finding another leak in the skimmer and did not even charge us to repair that leak, "maybe it was because we spent over $15,000" but anyways it was repaired. Now we have the most perfect pool and patio i feel i have ever seen. It took a little longer then we expected but it was worth the wait. I told him one day i would write a review and not only did i do that i will also put my phone number on this review for anyone to contact me with any questions they may have about hiring bella pools . 9545754905

I have never had such a pleasant experience with a company like I had with Bella Pools, A + to all the men ,They did the diamondbrite on my pool and brick pavers, everything came out fantastic! right before summertime, so my kids can come down from school and truly enjoy our new backyard. Super thanks to Michael for making this happen, such a fine young man with a great future in front of him.
