I chose to skip the whole reserving a car in advance process because I did feel like spending an hour talking to an automated machine. So I thought I would just wing it and rent a car when I arrived to Fort Lauderdale Airport. Boy was I wrong! Prices at the gate averaged about $100 a day with all the major car rental companies.I decided to do a google search right before I decided to bite the bullet. I am sure glad that I did. I stumbled upon Rent Smart. Not only did I save about $40 a day on a rental but they actually came to the airport to pick me up in the brand new Toyota Corolla I ended up renting. The service was fantastic and they also saved me money on the cab fare. Though they were only a few minutes away from the airport, those Miami taxi cabs only know how to rip people off. Fortunately for me, I found Rent Smart to rent a car from. So take that the guy at the airport who told me I wouldn't find a better price that weekend. Guess what? I did :-)

Great Prices! Definitely going to use them again the next time I'm in Miami.

Needed a car last minute and found this place. The car was super clean, got a great price, and John was great to deal with. Will definitely use them again when I'm in town.
