Provided by YP.comI was visiting Fort Lauderdale in November when I wandered into The Shops At Las Olas looking for a bathing suit. The saleswoman showed me some suits and said, 'why not get two? You're getting two for the price of one!" She kept saying this and pressing the issue. I really didn't need two suits, but I figured what the heck? When I went up to the register, the owner was quite chatty and pleasant. In hindsight I see that he was trying to distract me, which he managed to do. He put the bathing suits in a bag, put a receipt for me to sign with his hand covering the amount. I then asked him if he put the receipt in the bag and it was then that he gave it to me, saying," oh it just printed." When I got back to my son's house I looked at the receipt and was floored to see that I was charged for both bathing suits. The next day I went back to the store and spotted the woman who helped me, said hello and told her why I was back. She told me that I had to speak to the 'cashier', who is actually the owner. When I went to speak with him, the woman promptly disappeared. I explained that she kept telling me that the bathing suits were two for one and that is the only reason I took two. He said he could give me store credit, knowing full well that I was from out of town. I told him that I either wanted them to refund the amount of the second suit or I was returning the entire purchase. He said he could do neither. As a business owner myself, I tried to appeal to any good sense before I told him that I was leaving the merchandise and taking it up with my credit a=card company. The man took the bag that I placed on the counter and threw it out on the street and told me to leave his store! I retrieved the bag from outside and again, placed it on his counter and walked out of the store. My credit card company, MASTERCARD, just told me that the sellers said they have no record of receiving back the merchandise, so the MASTERCARD is charging me for this. They have no heard the last of this. IF YOU VISIT FORT LAUDERDALE, DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO INTO THIS STORE. THEY ARE THIEVES.

Provided by YPmobileI was lured in with a three t-shirts if I buy 2. I had the designs put on 5 t-shirts and I asked the price and was not told during the transaction until the end. They finally said $150 for 5 t-shirts. I said no I didn't want them and they said I have to buy them and I said let's call the police. They finally dropped the price to 80 dollars for 5 t-shirts. I argued with the owner who kept saying he would have to get manager or police but introduced himself as the owner at first. This place is a complete rip off stay away .. $150 for 5 t-shirts is not a deal.

Provided by YP.comI agree with the last comment. totally rude and unprofessional. They were really great to me when I was there spending $250, and when I got home (arizona) i realized a sweatshirt i bought was a child size small, instead of adult small and i called the store to see if there was something they would do as far as switching it out and the manager/owner, whomever answered the phone, told me basically that I should have recognized the difference in size. Are you kidding? It was a mistake. any good business person would satisfy the customer and allow me to return the item and get the correct size. Total jerk that runs that place!! don't go.

Provided by YPmobileThis place is an absolute rip off. Ur better off going to the other shops around the area. Don't bother with this one at all. They put on the perfect act and then it all ends up being a huge tourist trap even for locals. Dont be surprised if theyr character changes after the damage is done.
