The Florida Department of Transportation, also known as FDOT, is decentralized in accordance with legislative mandates. The Florida Department of Transportation is headquartered in Tallahassee, Fla. In addition, the company has a facility located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where it employs nearly 60 people.
