Nothing is fresh.. All cooked from frozen.. Salad Bar is ok

Don't let a first glance steer you away from eating here. Although the decor is a bit dark and in need of an update, the staff are very hard working and friendly and the food is good. For a town this small, we are lucky to have the variety of menu items offered at the Parthenon. They also have a large salad bar, which happens to be the only one for miles and miles. The food is consistently good and reasonably priced. Our family has been patrons for over 20 years and I can't remember being disappointed. Sure, I like to visit fine dining places, but they're sorely lacking in this tiny town. What The Parthenon lacks in style and atmosphere it makes up for in dependability and variety. We're lucky to have it. My favorites: Ribeye sandwich, fried cauliflower, bacon cheeseburger, fried chicken.
