The only reason I am giving the business 1 star is because there isnt an option for a negative star. This entire experience has been a nightmare that has gone from bad to worse. We hired this company to replace our roof. We selected this company over another company (which was less expensive I might add) because the owner sold us on the "quality of their work, their products and their experience" and the fact that they have been in business for 10 yrs in the area and blah blah blah. Day 1 - they show up and begin the tear off of the roof. The have a huge boom box on the top of the roof that is blasting music all over the neighborhood. My neighbors started complaining about the noise. Very unprofessional. Day 2 - continued the tear off and started repapering. More loud music. Knocked off early and helped themselves to fishing off our dock! NICE! Day 3 - it starts to rain. I called the owner at 8:15am and asked him to send someone over to make sure the chimney was wrapped and our ridge vents and valleys were tarped. No response. No call. I called back at 3pm and informed him that he really needed to send someone out because it was now RAINING INSIDE MY GREATROOM OVER THE FIREPLACE! No response. Finally shows up at 6:30pm. Day 4 - raining again. I called the guy AGAIN to ask him to please come over and tarp over the front porch because it was raining IN THE SIDE WINDOW and running down the front door. No response. My husband and I actually climbed up on the roof and tarped as much as we could. Day 5, I now have bulging "bladders of water" that have formed in the walls of my foyer behind the paint. As each "bladder" ruptures, water runs down the wall. Called again. No response. Day 6 - sunshine. Worked for 2 hrs (it was Saturday) and left. Day 7 - Sunshine. No work. Day 8 - finally here and working. In the meantime, I might also add that they have left trash in the yard and pounds - literally - pounds of nails on the decks and steps. I have asked them several times to please sweep b/c the nails are getting lodged point-side up in between the cracks between the boards and are dangerous to my daughter and our pets. So far, my husband and I are the only ones who have pushed a broom. So day 8 and while they are here - more rain is expected and we have quite a large repair estimate in front of us to correct all of the damage. Now we are hoping that they guy is indeed bonded. If not, who knows how we will cover the cost of the repairs.
