We took our young lab, Marnie, to Jim and he was terrific with her. She looks great, smells great , and had a fun time, we would recommend A Pet Spa by Groomingdales for dog grooming.

This is not a safe place to leave a pet. I never imagined that they did noy have 24hour 7 day attendants. They close at 4:30 PM and leave the premises unattended until opening at 7:30 AM. After showing up at 5:05 PM on Saturday (thinking they closed at 5:30 PM) much to my surprise my Maltese Bella was locked in. The only phone number on the door was answered by machine, on which I called at least 15 times between Saturday and Sunday. Also, no Hours of Operation were posted in the store front windows or front door. When picking up Bella on Monday at 7:30 AM the attendant was just exiting with Bella and another dog to be walked. I was told they tend to animals on Sunday between 9:30 AM and 10 AM. That seems a long time from possibly 10 AM Sunday (Unattended I sat outside for 3 hours Sunday hoping the) til 7:30 AM Monday to leave animals. Especially to my surprise that they had a fire in thier last location and lost all the boarding animals. You'd think they would have learned something..

They did a wonderful job and my loulou loved her spa day

We have been taking our 2 dogs to Groomingdales for 12-14 years. We went thru the fire with them and that was tragic for them. As dog lovers they were devistated for the loss of any dog. The cause was from someone setting the other site in the strip mall on fire. It was the probation office and one person didn't want to report. They covered their business thru working part time in Bonita and refering to the Groomingdales on McGreggor. We have never had a bad hair cut on our one 1/2 maltese who looks like a purebread. Lady thru the years has started growing multiple groths on her skin. Our vet said he could take them off, but they would just regrow. Groomingdales does a fantastic job cutting her hair without cutting the growth. Our other dog is Mickey who in 1/2 mini pin and by taking him in on Tuesday we get a $5,00 discount by going in on a Tuesday. Groomingdales is a top notch groomer and I would not hesitate to board my dogs if they needed to be boarded. Please consider

Horrible Place. You walk in and all these dogs coming running at you and barking so loud. My poor little baby was scared to death. What are they thinking.
