My wife has been seeing, Duan Naili, MD for at least 6 months now. We cancel the last appointment, This past month, because it seems that dollar amount is more of a concern to her, than the person. The last three times it was the same old thing, $130.00, money order, or nothing!!!! Then she would increase my wife's medication, which is "PRIMIDONE" from at first 250 mgs, daily to the finally visit, and which was increased to a whopping 750 mgs. (that amount was split between to meals.) My wife's legs, feet swelled up, and she said the swelling would go down, and also increasing her medication would have no effect on her health. I went on the internet, and looked up this medication and it said that 250 mgs works just as fine as 750 mgs. Also it stated that if person took too many mgs, by this neurologist, that they could have an overdose, and hospital here we come. Since I suggested to my wife after she read about this drug, and we decide that 250 mgs would do just fine. It is written in the information on the internet, stated above. Well, in the past week, since she has been doing only 250 mgs her feet are back to normal and her legs are also doing the same. Personally, I think this neurologist should go back to school or get on the internet and read aboutthe medication that she is perscibing to her numbers....To her she sees a number, not a person, and the "MONEY"!. Reminds me of a song by Bob Seger,"Feel like a number!!!" We are the stages of finding a "NEW" neurologist, who cares more of the person than the money issues. Is there anyone out there have a suggestion? I am all ears!!!
