Michael D. Cato is a consulting service provider for fire protection and life safety issues. He has 30 years of experience as Fire Marshal in Delray Beach and Estero of Florida. He specializes in fire sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, life safety in buildings, and other hazards protection. Michael D. Cato has served as past President and Legislative Committee Chair of the Florida Fire Marshals and Inspectors Association, and is also a life member of the association. He was also a member of the National Fire Protection Association, and has served in Technical Committees for the National Fire Alarm Code, Repair Garages, and Parking Structures. He is an accredited Chief Fire Officer and was recognized as Fire Marshal of the Year in Florida in 1998.
