Good club, lots of equipment. The only bad thing are the hordes of elderly, obese and out of shape seniors hanging around. They should all go back up north and stay there. When I am at the gym I like to see younger, buff people that belong there. This motivates me to maintain by fit body, mind and spirit. Thanks, Planet, but if these geriatrics don't leave, I will ask for a refund and go to a younger club.

I called Kim the manager to voice a concern regarding service, and guess what my membership got canceled. Wow what is going on customer service is thing of the past it seems. The cancellation will not include a refund for the remainder of the month. I am calling the owners Glenn and Shannon Dowler maybe they care.

I have been something of a fitness person for all of my life and have been a member of many other gyms/fitness centers.I must say that Planet Fitness is an awesome place to "work out". Granted, there is no pool (something I missed at first) or childcare (something I no longer need) but if you want those extras, be prepared to pay much more than $10.60 per month.The staff is very friendly and approachable, it is very conveniently located, and no one has to be disturbed by the sounds and smells of serious body builders. It is a JUDGMENT FREE zone where anyone is welcome to get in the best shape they choose to get into. I have always felt welcome and happy working out there on McGregor.

Constant drone of AM music, nauseating colors, clicky staff, judgement free zone unless you grunt, groan or ware a rag on your head.

I was down on vacation and wanted to stay fit but when I walk in to planet fitness to see how much it was for the day I almost had a heart attack they wanted $21.20 for the day. I said no not for the month, he said that was the day price so I laugh and walked out. I pay $20.00 a month for Retro fitness with no contract in NJ I'm thinking about opening one next door. haha

Planet Fitness advertises Judgement Free Zone, but does not include all aspects of business. For example some Planet Fitness only have stand up tanning beds. For heavier people this is not possible as their rolls of excess skin do not allow for tanning under them, also for large brasted women. The only way possible would be with a laying down tanning bed. If your Planet Fitness does not have a lie down bed you are NOT a Judgement Free Zone. You are supposed to cater for people so as they won't feel judged. All Planet Fitness should be mandatory to have at least 1 lie down tanning bed.
