Just renewed my homeowners policy through Regency Insurance Group. Would not go to any other company as the service you get from Regency is above and beyond everyone else. They keep on top of dates for policy renewal and send you a reminder well ahead of time so you are prepared to pay in full or quarterly.

My first impression was the phone answered everytime no voice mail and friendly ongoing staff that knew my name and verified me every time. In addition, Christy and Danielle answered every question and provided professional advice so that I can make the enhancing decision needed to help me save money in this insurance world of high premiums, fraud, and little to no companies writing in the state of Florida. This is my new insurance company now and in the future.

Add me to the one star people. Let me tell you a story;

Once upon a time a lady named Maria bought insurance on a home through Regency. When the home passed to me I thought I would stay with Regency so there would be no break in service and they know the property. After getting a quote I signed with them and paid the policy in whole. So now on paper, Maria and Mike both have insurance on the same home. Notice was given to cancel the policy for Maria. Regency canceled the policy for Mike. What you may say? After receiving a notice of cancellation and making several calls and waiting to hear back Mike thought the whole thing was straightened out, but no. Mike received a call from Regency about a pending cancellation on the policy. Seems the company will no longer honor the previous credits for the same home that was insured through them. So now they want more money. Mike asked them about hunting for another company because he has absolutely no confidence in them if he ever had a claim. Regency calls back and says they can’t find anyone because on the lapse of coverage. Remember above when they canceled the wrong policy? Well for the time it took to get it straightened out there was no insurance on the home thus a lapse of coverage. The moral of this story is to look at YP and others before you do business with a company no matter how good it looks to do so.

i read an article this week that hurricane harvey and irma will cause over 200 billion dollars in damage. Despite all of that, when i called regency this week, they were open and they were there for me. they didnt run and hide, they fought for me as their client. i will be a forever customer

I am very cautious about where I buy from- read reviews and do my homework and boy am I glad I found this company. Buying home insurance could not have been easier. They answered all of my questions so patiently and honestly and got me an amazingly awesome ins plan for HALF of what I was paying. Could not be happier- going to have my mom call to get insurance soon.

Genuine Excellence!!

I couldn't be more pleased! and I'm not all that easy to please. After working with Anjanette today and Brian 3 years ago I can attest to how personable and professional there are. They treated me like it really mattered to them, that I be pleased, and patiently provided me with all the little details I asked for. We spoke at 1:30 pm and within an hour I have better less expensive coverage for my home! Whomever answers the phone is very courteous and kind while not being overbearingly sappy sweet, which to me shows they are genuine. Keep up the Great Work!! Kindness is Everything!!

Been with Regency for a few years now and love how much the employees seem to care about me and my family. With things getting more and more automated I can always count on a real person to be there for me. Had an issue that needed to be fixed on my house and they saw it all the way through and made sure that I kept coverage on my place. Thanks you guys!

Quick to respond and with an acceptable rate but contract was with a company that turned out to have a history of cancelling policies not long after the effective date. Sure enough, one month into the contract I was cancelled because my roof is not acceptable. The roof is hurricane rated to 120 mph and has been acceptable to previous insurers. Homeowners' insurance in Florida is nothing but a racket anymore having people insure for rebuild value instead of actual value. Kinda like paying insurance for a Cadillac when you own a Kia. After how many years do you suppose the insurance companies have to refund the overage charged while collecting higher fees than necessary? When do they get to decide the customer is not rebuilding and we've been overcharging all these years?

Contacted this company for a quote on my renewal home insurance, responded quickly with a quote with much lower limits and with a company that was worse than Citizen state insurance. Beware and read your policy and limits to see if they are comparable to what you had and NEED! If I didn't know better, I would of thought great quote, if I had a claim I would of lost everything with no coverage and a company that has horrible business practices. Look up the company they quoted with, they are not good companies. That's why they have low rates and low limits to go with those rates!!
