I hired Riteway ( Rich Cochrane) to clear my land, he cut down the trees, left the roots, stump and covered them with dirt.
The engineer tested the soil and would not allow me to build until all the roots were removed, which is what I paid Riteway $10400 to do.
I gave Riteway a chance to fix it and he refused, sued him and he agreed to a settlement outside of court, never paid it, took him back to court and won. He still has not paid.
What would I have done different:
Never paid him in full or a deposit.
Demanded receipts for $4000 in fill he said he brought in before payment.
Watched him everyday.
And never hired or trusted him.

Riteway just finished a job for me and I was very happy with the work . When they finished I didn't even know they had been here.ery pleasent and real nice to work with.I would recommend they HIGHLY
