Robb & Stucky was founded in 1915 by Virgil C. Robb and W.R. Lee in Fort Myers, Florida as Lee & Robb, a general merchandise emporium. In 1917 Harry C. Stucky joined the firm, and the name was eventually changed to Robb & Stucky. Robb & Stucky operated as a single-store operation for 52 years, and in 1967 the firm opened its second location in Naples. In 1979 the company was sold, and rapid expansion began. Additional stores were opened throughout Florida, as well as Arizona, Texas, Nevada, and Costa Rica. In February 2011, the original company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, citing difficult economic times. A complete company liquidation began in March 2011. In June 2011, a new company purchased the rights to the Robb & Stucky name. Our ownership and executive team is new, but we were fortunate to be able to employ many of the talented and experienced employees from the old Robb & Stucky. At the new Robb & Stucky International, we have created a store that is friendly and welcoming. Our furnishings are from the very finest manufacturers from around the globe. Wherever possible, we source domestically; in fact a great deal of our product is made here in the U.S. Our furnishings are beautifully displayed in six distinctive “points of view.” Each is an adventure into a design perspective, and whether you are furnishing an entire home or just looking for an accent piece, we feel you’ll leave the store inspired. We offer outstanding interior design assistance, white-glove delivery service, and unparalleled customer service. We are very proud of our new company and look forward to seeing you soon!
