Fort Payne Middle School serves students in grades five through seven. The school provides membership for various clubs, such as peer mediators, student council, band, math team and the National Junior Honor Society. Fort Payne Middle School offers various sporting activities, including wrestling, softball, basketball, soccer, football, and track and field. It has a staff of guidance counselors that assist students in their educational development and also offers individual and group counseling services. The school provides academic instruction in business, technology, physical and special education, math, science, social studies and art.
