Scam Alert!!!!
The owner Pierre Richard Scutt sold my mother, a senior on a fixed income a knowingly defective and dangerous car. Within a week,she found herself on the side of the road, alone, at night, during a storm. Turns out, the whole fuel system, tank, line and pump need replacing- a 4500$ repair. It was obvious that the he knew the car had mechanical issues because it was discovered that the cap to the fuel pump had been removed and left next to it. The access to the fuel pump is under the rear passenger seat. My mother has no sense of smell, so she could not detect the odor of gasoline in the car which the tow person and mechanics confirm were present. Luckily she isn't a smoker! The repair cost is about what she paid for the car (which would have been fair if the car were functional due to it's age and mileage). She would have been happy to return the lemon and get her car back but he refuses to speak with her (he will not take her calls or speak with her face to face) and would only relay a message through his lackey that "It's not my problem, I already put too much money into it." The car she traded in has quickly been taken off the lot. So, he not only intentionally misrepresented this car, but he jeopardized her safety by letting let her drive away in a car that had the cap to the fuel pump removed leaking gas fumes into the car.
Wonder if he still "feeling awesome" after scamming the vulnerable.
