Great Service

The doctors and staff at Animal Emergency and Referral center are amazing! My dog is very shy around new people, yet he absolutely fell in love with the staff here. He was attacked by another dog and these caring people were able to see him right away. They are on my speed dial for my little man. Thanks again guys.

My mini schnauzer had nausea/vomiting and was dehydrated. we brought her Animal Emergency and Referral Center. Dr. Phillips and the vet tech on shift were extremely professional, thorough, answered all my questions, gave me choices for care, and were more than competent in their skills.I am an emergency room RN, and cannot express how impressed I was with this emergency care my pet received. Yes you must bite the bullet and pay out of pocket for your pets, they are worth it. The care they receive in this facility is priceless. If they didn't charge money for the care of these animals, they wouldn't be able to keep the doors open. Animals don't always have insurance like people. In conclusion, if you want quality care for your pet come here.

My primary vet transferred my pet here for a foreign body surgery. I was very glad to be somewhere that specialized in situations like this. They made me feel at ease and very comfortable leaving my pet there.

One of my fur babies was not bearing weight on one of her legs so I brought her in to see Dr. Phillips, she specializes in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. Dr. Phillips felt around and within minutes diagnosed KitKat with a ruptured cruciate. I was told that she would not need surgery and that most cats heal on their own as long as they refrain from jumping. She's also receiving a shot weekly to help her heal. We have one more shot before she is rechecked but is feeling much better. Thanks AERC for being such a great place to take my fur babies!

I have had to go to this emergency hospital twice now with my cat and both times they have treated me with respect and professionalism. The cost of emergency care is not cheap, human or animal, but if I am going to have to spend extra to save my cat's life I will continue to return here when he is having an emergency...if only he would stop having so many accidents! Thanks doctors and staff for taking great care of us

I unfortunately had to visit this Emergency Center the other night when my dog woke me up screaming in the middle of the night. She had vomited all over the house..I do not know how it took me so long to notice :( the staff were very helpful to me over the phone and when I got to the hospital they were all very quick to act and walked me through the paper work and ending up have to hospitalize my girl over night. She was fully recovered and well taken care of in the morning when I picked her up and they gave me the comfort of knowing they are always there 24/7/365 and I would call them in a heart beat if I ever had another scare. When I left they told me "We hope we never see you again" LOL very passionate and caring staff the emergency vet was amazing!

Im so thankful to know that AERC is always there 24/7 and there is always a doctor available when an emergency is presented, even during the holidays when all other veterinary hospitals are closed. they are definitely going to be my first resort if we ever needed emergency assistance with our kitty.

Dr. Phillips has made my dog feel young again. For years my dog had a difficult ear infection that would not respond to treatment. I even had a dermatologist look at him and though the meds would help for a time, the infection came back. Finally, Dr. Phillips did a surgery on my dog that changed him for the better. He no longer scratches and cries all day. He is more playful and enjoys to part of things again. Dr. Phillips is the greatest and I could not express how much her help has meant to me. Thank you a thousand times over.

My cat Luke at the age of 13 developed cancer in his rear leg, I went to the animal emergency and referral center and they discussed my options with me. The best treatment option would be to amputate his leg. I just couldn't put him through a major surgery like that so I took him home and let him live the rest of his days lying on my lap for the most part. When the time came and I knew he was suffering I took him back to the AERC, I was so scared to put him down but I knew it was time. The doctor and staff were very kind to my dear Luke and me, he went to sleep so peacefully and I knew I had done the right thing for Luke. The staff comforted me and I truly respect the job they do and thank them for their kindness!

The AERC has saved my cats life for the second time now!! He was vomiting and not eating much so I brought him to the hospital, he was very lathargic and dehydrated when we got there. The doctors ran some blood tests and took x-rays, they believed he had pancreatitis. This diagnosis was confirmed with the ultrasound performed later on that same day. He was in the hospital for 3 days being treated with hyperberic oxygen therapy and other medications he has responded wonderfully!! I'll brought him home last night and I am just so glad to have him back. I just want to thank all the doctors and staff at the animal emergency center for saving my cats life again!!! Sincerely

Though he has long been gone, Buster, my favorite dog, was saved from a terrible neighborhood dog attack by the Animal Emergency and Referral Center. He spent a few days in treatment and came back with tubes draining the bites. His recovery was spectacular, and the service was professionally compassionate. I kindly give thanks to the doctors and staff at the Animal Emergency and Referral Center.

Thank you everyone who helped save my two beloved dogs from Foreign Body Ingestion. I never thought I would be in this predicament. Without your hard work and excellent patient care, they would not be with me today. Thanks again for everything.

What an amazing place! I have 2 diabetic cats. One has been on insulin for about 4 years and the other for almost 2. I went to see Dr. Lyman for the diabetes. He offered clear and concise information without all the big terminology so I could easily follow along with what he was saying. With Dr. Lyman's treatment options and plan, we began to treat my cats with the hyperbaric oxygen chamber. Now one of my cats is off insulin completely and the other has been greatly reduced. I cannot say enough about how much Dr. Lyman has helped the three of us out. Thanks again, Keith, Smokey, and Merlin.
