My very good friend was treated like a criminal and embarrassed publically in a waiting room full of people. Told she was given a sot for pain which she wasn't given then the nurse accused her of wanting pain medicine as though she was a pain med drug addict in a room full of people. UMMMM HIPPA violation. Not a frequent patient. Not even a doctor hopping patient although now she has had to find another doc. The woman never goes to the doctor until now when her pain was so great she couldn't take it anymore. The human resources dept here told her not to come back to their hospital rather than fire the nurse who broke the law. The nurse then spread lies to other clinic staff that she and her husband were violent. Nothing physical happened at all. The nurse raised her voice in the waiting room with the intent of embarrassing them and intimidating them. My friend's very soft spoken laid back husband merely raised his voice to the same level to inform the nurse no shot for pain was given. This place isn't high on standards for treating patients with dignity and respect especially when they are in the most vulnerable positions of their lives.
