Bost is a community-based, nonprofit agency that provides services to individuals who suffer from mental, developmental and physical disabilities. The center provides independent living assistance, residential support and vocational choices. It is accredited for community and employment services by CARF, a private organization that promotes rehabilitation services. Bost is licensed by the Arkansas Division of Developmental Disabilities, Arkansas Division of Children and Family Services, Arkansas Office of Long Term Care and Arkansas Rehabilitation Services. Its personal care services include assistance with bathing, bladder and bowel requirements, dressing, eating, incidental housekeeping, laundry and medication. In addition, the center provides full-time nursing services and speech, occupational and physical therapies. Established in 1959, Bost is located in Fort Smith, Ark.
