I wanted to become a doctor because when I was a kid, I had an opportunity to go behind the scenes at a science exhibition where I saw real organs contained in jars. That excited me and got me wondering, ?So what does it actually take to find out how it works or how the human body works?? Gradually, I got interested in biology and then I wanted to become a doctor. Then one day I realized that becoming a doctor isn?t not only knowing things and having knowledge, it's more than that. It?s connecting with the people to heal them. I felt like internal medicine is an area that demands a wide range of knowledge. You get to know a lot more and you have to work hard in order to understand the language spoken by the body?what it?s telling you through the symptoms and what investigations we do. So that's the main reason I did up internal medicine.
