I was unable to be released from the links. when I moved to Reno Nv for medical reasons. (I am disabled vet from the USMC) I was unable to a apartment there do to the management. I lived at the Links since Sept 2004 and my brother John Johnson was still there paying the rent. Forced to live in a motel.

It's an okay place. It is clean and fairly nice, however I only give it two stars because the management kept writing me up for things I did not do such as throwing cigarette buds down on the ground. I don't even smoke. Then one weekend I left to see my mom and came back to a note on my door about a grill that was left out. I didn't even own a grill at the time. I kept having to go back in the office and explain it was not me. I just wish the management would have known for a fact who was doing these things before accusing me of them.

I lived in the Links for two years. Throughout the year there were A LOT of issues with the apartment. Apartments are suppose to keep up with the maintenance and construction. My apartment had nothing but annoying issues happen all the time.

The garbage disposal was not fixed until after 5 months and the dishwasher.. well, let's just say it never got used.



Management is very rude. I'm surprised that I even had the patience to stay for this amount of time. The manager of The Links Fort Smith is the worse out of all their staff members. He was very rude and unprofessional. I requested that my front door lock be fixed (it does not close properly unless you slam it), but it was disregarded. This is just one of the biggest problems I have with The Links.



Yes, the Links DO have Pro's. Those pro's include good parking and a clean environment. But these perks DO NOT outweigh the Cons.



If you're considering this apartment, think twice. Why? Great apartments rely on great upper management. If the manager is unable to provide me the service that I pay for, well..you know the rest.

let me start off by saying im from dallas tx but i lived in ft smith back in '99 my very first apt was at THE LINKS,i was so proud of this being my first apt,and also in my opion one of the prettiest properties in ft.smith (for apts)

NOW IM BACK IN DALLAS,just want to know how come there is not a proper web site for these apts??

Maybe im wrong and there is, but i have searched,anyways i just think its more professional to always have a web-site if you are going to run a bussiness,and especially have some sort of web url for visiters like myself to be able to navigate to,not only for better bussiness,but also to promote your property,now i admit i lived here but only for a short time because i was in a serious car accident in dallas that caused me to not walk for some time,The link @ft.smith will always have a special place in my heart and so will ft smith
