PRADCO, located in Fort Smith, Ark., is one of the largest manufacturers of fishing lures in the world. Its products are marketed under the brand names of Arbogast, Bomber, Cotton Cordell, Creek Chub, Excalibur, Heddon, Lazy Ike, Rebel, Riverside, Silver Thread, Smithwick and Yum Attractants. The company was acquired in 1980 by EBSCO Industries, a Birmingham, Ala.-based company that has interests in publishing, steel joist and metal roof deck manufacturing and real estate development. PRADCO has plants in Fort Smith, Mulberry, Ark., and Hot Springs, Ark.
