The Fort Valley Police Department is a law enforcement agency that protects residents lives and their properties and safeguards individual rights and community values. It has a Peach County Drug Enforcement Unit that works in cooperation with the Peach County Sheriff's Office and Byron Police Department. The Fort Valley Police Department is divided into three divisions, including Uniform Police, Criminal Investigations and the Office of Professional Standards. The police department maintains bicycle patrol, special response team and a crime prevention and crime suppression unit. Additionally, it supports Neighborhood Watch and Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) programs. The Fort Valley Police Department is located in Fort Valley, Ga.
