Provided by YP.comOn my way to Florida my van started leaking transmission fluid. I had to stop every 100 miles to put fluid in it, I finally made it to Florida. Aj was down there a month before me and met Bob (the owner). He called Bob and explained my situation and Bob had me drop off the van so they could fix it. These guys were so friendly and nice they not only fixed my van but brought it to me. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone. Thank You Bob.

Provided by YP.comHighly disgusted with this store and management. I brought in two tires to be replaced, confirmed twice by calling that they had the right size and time to put them on. I drop the tires off, come back to find out from the man named NEVEL that the boss was supposed to call because they had the wrong size. I didn't know what to do and the boss, BOB, had left so I said I would call back to figure it out. While getting my tires, two other workers are chatting and NEVEL is answering calls rather than grabbing my tires. I tell him that we were told 30-45 minutes, they are not done and we have to go and voicemail can answer it because I am right here. I leave and research if I can use two different sizes, WHICH I CANNOT so I call and get ahold of BOB the boss on the SAME DAY 4/6/15....HE YELLS AT ME FOR YELLING AT HIS GUYS AND HANGS UP! I couldn't tell him that they were goofing off and not doing their job because he didn't let me get any words in. I instantly call 800 MIDAS to let them know of my scenario and request a refund, return the tires or exchange. They said I should receive a call within 24-48 hours. On4/10,4/13,4/20 I call AGAIN...to get the same answer-24-48 hours I will be contacted. AGAIN NOTHING. On 4/21/15, Noel from Corporate calls and I explain again what this horrible boss did and sold me and he would look into it. I HEAR NOTHING AGAIN. I call back to see what is going on, and Noel says the boss said I requested the WRONG SIZE and it's a CIVIL matter!? Wait, what!? I have two tires that do not fit my van that have never been used and want this resolved but NOPE. I WAS SCREWED OUT OF $227, yelled at and have two brand new tires that will not fit my van. How lovely. For the sake of your car, pockets, and being treated respectfully, head somewhere else besides this Midas!

Provided by YP.comMy son was driving one of our vehicles when he had a brake problem. The brake peddle had started to get soft, then went to the floor. It sounded like a it blew a brake line. I told him to find a garage to take a look at it. He went into this Midas and was told there was a complementary brake inspection after they looked at it told my son that it needed new brake calipers, pads, and a brake line for $1800+. He also said that it would also probably need a new master cylinder for an additional cost as well but he wouldn't know until they were almost done with the work. I called and had a conversation with him as well, and told him I just wanted to have the brake line replaced. He said he would do it and also gave me the same song and dance about it may need a master cylinder as well. Little did the guy at Midas know that I just had the vehicle gone thru 3 weeks ago to make sure it would be good for my son to take on his move from the northeast to Ft. Walton. At that time one of the things done was to have a new caliper installed. After speaking with my mechanic that works on my fleet of vans and trucks for my company, as well as a couple of other mechanics in the area I was convinced that the Midas store was full of BS and I decided to have a tow truck pick it up from there and bring it to a different garage. When the tow truck driver went to pick the truck up he was told he couldn't because we owed a bill. I had to call and pay them for a brake inspection before they would release it to the tow truck driver.....So much for Midas's "complementary brake inspection".
Never, never, never will I or anybody in my family pull into a Midas parking lot again, unless of course I have to turn around in their parking lot. Hopefully by writing this it will save somebody from having good parts replaced by "The Golden Touch".
