Mike was the best. I thoroughly enjoyed my visits and he cut my hair just as I like it. Unfortunately, Mike died a short while ago and he will be missed.

Mike really knows what's he's doing! This is a barbershop where you get that hometown feel. For $10 you can't beat it. There's not another barber in town that can fade like Mike.

i walked into mike's barbershop kind'of shaggy looking and needing a haircut, he had just finished up a guy so i got in the chair. the barber didn't seem real friendly, he threw a black cape around me and i explained how i wanted it cut, but i don't think he listened too well. he wetted me down with a water spray, then started cutting and trimming some, then trimmed the back of my neck, sides and around ears with an electric razor, then went back to more cutting for several minutes. he finished me up with splashing a little aftershave around my neck. i was in the barberchair for probably 12 min, and cost was $10. my hair is kind'of stubborn after a haircut, but he said his haircuts stay neat and in place without using any hair grooming junk to keep it in place - he was wrong in my case, as it didn't take long for it to look messy again. he cut it shorter than what i wanted, not blended in real well, and my sideburns were not evened-up - i had to work on the sides when i got home. i don't think he paid good attention to doing a good job, and how i wanted it. overall, the highest i can give the cut at mike's is a "2" - it was unfortunately probably below standards of the average barbershop haircut - he should be able to do better!
