My mother was kind enough to order some dinner for me via delivery recently, and called me up to let me know they told her it would be half an hour. 50 minutes later it arrives, and the gentleman proceeds to hand me three flimsy styrofoam boxes, all lukewarm, no bag or anything to hold them in. As I attempt to maneuver them to sign the receipt, one box falls to the ground, spilling all of my fries. Not a big deal, these things happen.

My mother calls again shortly after, asking how everything is, and I relay this story. She insists on calling the restaurant. The very same gentleman, who I'm to understand was in fact the owner, adamantly states he was well on time and then proceeds to openly mock my attire and demeanor to my mother. I suppose when you own a business, a 60-year-old man can afford to behave as if he's in middle school. No worries, this "gothic kid" will not be darkening your step any longer.
