Drove an hr to see Dr Chao because my Dr retired when I got there I was told that my insurance would not pay for the visit for some reason and that I needed to pay $450 per visit to be a patient. I called my insurance and found out that I had met my out of pocket expenses for the year and they would pay 100% of the going rates for a pain specialist Dr Chao just wanted $450 more per visit than that amount. My last Dr billed my insurance every visit and every January we settled up for the prior year and it was never more than $250 for the year. Dr Chao is severely greedy and I'm sure making money faster than even she can spend it. I hope Karma bites her on the ass soon.
