The Ear Clinic of Indiana (ECI) or Indiana Ear is a subspecialty clinic focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the ear. Individuals with troublesome ear symptoms often seek care with a general practitioner, such as a family physician, or an ENT (ear, nose & throat) specialist. However, the spectrum of ear disorders is very broad and often complicated.  ECI concentrates on the ear only, providing a highly sub-specialized care source for patients and referring physicians.  This area of clinical medicine, known as Neurotology is considered a subspecialty within the field of otolaryngology (general ear, nose & throat care).  Michael J Disher, MD completed a fellowship at the University of Michigan in the sub-specialized field of Otology, Neurotology, and Skull Base Surgery.
