Not my Father's Factory...BETTER!!!!!

I've been coming to the Factory with my parents and grandparents since I was a kid. It was always our special place. Honestly though...it hadn't changed much with the times and became eerily like walking into the Twilight Zone in a 70's diner episode where lime jello was a side dish option. BUT...something amazing has happened there recently. The menu has completely changed to highlight their fantastic Prime Rib and Steaks. They have a trendy new Craft Beer and martini selection. The staff, as always, is super friendly and attentive. It feels good to see a breath of fresh air pumped into this Fort Wayne favorite. Way to go Hall's!

Friday Evening Dinner for 6

This is the worst experience that we have ever had at this restaurant. We always bring friends to the Factory because it was always a place where you could count on the food being good and a fair amount of it. This was not the cas this evening. My daughter always orders Chicken Kiev. She said that the potion size has been extremely cut down. I had the Fettuccini Alfredo which was basically tasteless. My husband had the pork chops and said they were o.k but did not like the apples all over them. Our waitress was terrible, she did not come back and offer the kids drinks and only filled the coffee once. We hardly ever saw her. We used to think that this was about the best restaurant in town and my husband and I came there very often and then they cut out the grinder which was our favorite. We had pretty much quit going there or only went seldom. We are from another state and have visitors often and our place to take them was always the factory. We had a big dinner there for several friends from out to state when our daughter got married.

Something has definitely changed drastically. Sure wish that you could find the old FACTORY.
