Provided by YP.comI would never, ever no matter what take my Volvo here for service again. Both times I did I got my car back with broken pieces that were completely unrelated to the work done. The last time they had my car for over a week--with repeated excuses--and never did fix the problem. The service manager is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I have never had a bad experience with auto service before, but this experience showed me why some people are so leery of mechanics.

Provided by YP.comI took my 02 Volvo S60 in to get it looked at. I informed them that it was shaking and I was hoping they could find the problem and fit it. They orginally stated that they thought it had to do with the front axle. After a day and half they tell me that my wheel bearings were wearing but control arms need replaced. I spend $400 and got just the control arms fixed. I picked up my car and now it is shaking even worse then before. I also have a weird clicking noise coming from under my car. I then took it to Tom Steele who inspected it and said my front axle is bent. How in the world did that happen??? That's not all! I said to Volvo, "I think my car is a Turbo, but I'm not sure." Volvo says, "Well if it doesn't say 2.5T on the back then it's not a turbo." So I went home and got carfax report. My reports says "2002 Volvo S60 2.5T AWD." ARE THEY SERIOUS?!?! So it turns out my car is a turbo engine, I payed $400 for them to fix nothing I asked for, and oddly enough after leaving the shop I now have a bent front axle. I would NOT recommond this place to any Volvo owners with or without a warranty. AVOID THEM! There are other shops in fort wayne that will work on your Volvo. You just have to call around. Warner's Garage has been working on mine and I am pleased! :-)

Provided by YP.comI was considering purchasing a Volvo V70 and brought the car in to get inspected. The service department told me it would be about $50 for an overview. I went in the next day to find out that the "inspection" was going to cost $110. I found out that the car needed about $1000 of "need to fix" items. I decided to buy the car and literally next week the parking brake mysteriously locked up causing over $2000 worth of damage. This "dealership" couldn't explain why it happened NOR could they explain why they didn't catch this in the $110 "inspection". So I spent a boatload of money getting my Volvo repaired. I ordered a couple of $1 fuses and 2 seat-belt extenders that Volvo offers for free...that was in December. I am continually getting the run-around from the service department. After going in today to find out where are the parts, I was told that they basically didn't know. PLEASE stay away from this dealership. DO NOT bring your Volvo here. There are at least 50 REPUTABLE repair shops in town that will perform quality work at a FRACTION of their prices.
Bottom line: Stay away from Tom Kelley Volvo!!!!
