Provided by YP.comA good friend asked me, “What was it that you liked best about The Anderson School?” I said, “Our son’s first week there.....when I picked him up he was happy, laughing with friends, talking with his teachers.” Every Day. Our son had been so discouraged at his previous school, that he had nearly lost any desire to even go to school. Mornings in our household were like a battleground; he was so unmotivated or misunderstood at his school. Sometimes things do not click for your child at a certain school and childhood and education are way too important to leave your kid there....even one more miserable week. Thank you Dr. & Mrs. Anderson.

Provided by YP.comIt's a very "Lord of the Flies" environment, when chaos reigns and only the strongest survive. Somewhere, they lost the idea behind their Gifted charter, and ADHD kids who could not survive in a public school were let in, and no ADHD medications are allowed. As I said, chaos reigns. These kids rarely pay tuition, so your tuition has to be uber high to cover theirs.
Science instruction is a joke. But then, almost everything is, being so dependent upon workbook-based learning. Cheating is rife becuse there is little to no supervision. An extravagant waste of money.

Provided by YP.comMy family feels very fortunate and grateful for Anderson School. It is such a gift to families like ours that have struggled in the past with finding a challenging educational environment. We searched and searched for a place that was truly different and built especially for gifted & talented students and we are grateful that we didn't stop looking until we found Anderson. The school has met and exceeded all our expectations.

Provided by YP.comIt seems that our lives are so busy that the moments to reach out and connect pass by, one by one. I just read a couple of Bill's weblogs about listening to the birds and providing a pesticide-free school for the kids and creatures. These points, and many other nature loving, love-is-the-answer, child empowering and God loving messages shared are just part of the reason I'm drawn to the Anderson School for the health and happiness of my children. So from my heart, thank you.
