We went to Augies for the first time last weekend. Positives - We sat on the balcony and enjoyed the great view of the lake and the sunset. The food was good and the service was good for the atmosphere. It was a Saturday night and a band was playing. I think they were called Back in The Day. They played great classic rock and it was not too loud. The singer sounds Just like Steve Perry from Journey! Overall it was a fun time. As for the atmosphere I would compare it to a beach weekend, flip-flops shorts and a T and you will fit right in. Very casual laid back and fun. We will return for sure. Negative The place did seem to attract some Whiskey Tango (WT). Parking is not adequate to support the businesses.

An Eagle Mountain Lake favorite for many years, Augie's is located right by the dam. Sit on the patio and enjoy picturesque summer sunsets, watch boaters and swimmers, and sailboats from the Boat Club. Listen to music from the jukebox anytime - and to live music on summer nights. Everything on the menu is superb, but the cheeseburgers and catfish rate among the best in Fort Worth. Friendly people and great service. (Plan to get there early on summer weekend afternoons; patio fills up fast!)
