My house flooded and I was in a panic mode. I got a referral from a friend to Family Owned Restoration. I called and spoke with Shane who was in Austin on business at the time. After giving him the information that he needed, (he was so kind and reassuring) within 2 hours he had his crew and a plumber at my house along with an owner of another water restoration company to supervise Shane's crew and check for water damage in the walls and baseboards as well as making sure that the correct placements of the dehumidifiers and fans were completed. Shane continued to coordinate all damage control from Austin. Shane's crew, Jonathan and Mac were fantastic. They were very knowledgeable as to what needed to be done. They moved furniture out of two bedrooms and the living room (saving the furniture) and immediately got to work extracting water from the bathroom, and wall to wall carpeting in the hallway, bedrooms, closets and living room. Jonathan kept assuring me that my carpeting would be saved. Shane came to my house the next day and every day there after until all was back to normal in my home. Shane is extremely knowledgeable about water damage and what needs to be done to insure a mildew/mold free home. (In fact he was planning to attend a continuing education week long course after the work was completed at my house.) He along with Jonathan and Mac were not only professional, but reassuring , kind, and caring about their work as well as their customer. I was treated as if I were a member of their individual families. I have never been treated as nicely from a service oriented company as I was with Shane and his crew. After the carpeting and walls were dried out, the carpets were cleaned. Shane and Jonathan were right. The carpeting and padding was saved and now looks like new. In fact, I had them clean the rest of the wall to wall carpeting in my house. And all looks beautiful. Of course, they replaced all the furniture that was removed . The water damaged areas were treated with mold/mildew preventer. Shane warrants for a year that my home will not have any mold or mildew damage. I can't thank Shane and crew enough for all that they did for me and my home. They are now my official carpet cleaning company. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!

Family owned restoration went way above and beyond the call of duty. Shane answers the phone himself and was at my house within an hour to assess the water damage and gave me a fast and extremely fair quote to complete the job. He finished the job today. I can highly recommend Shane and his business. He made a bad situation so much better for me. He is Fast, professional, courteous guy. Couldn't have asked for better. I am so glad I called Shane.
