I would've rated the hospital as perfect based on the care and treatment I received other than my most recent visit to the ER, from which I was discharged only to return by ambulance 2 days later and even sicker. After I was admitted, finally, I was diagnosed with an ulcer and in need of surgery to correct a procedure from 2012 performed in Dallas. What kind of decision process determined that kicking me out was "doing no harm?"

You are better off killing yourself than going here. But give it a try.

On the whole when correctly diagnosed, great Hospital. On another note, inexperienced doctors that often misdiagnose which results in confusion and return ER visits. I was seen in the ER for chest pain and HIGH Blood pressure. I was diagnosed with anxiety. I left there with incredibly high BP not even taken care of. I was told 140/105 was acceptable and that I can somehow make my blood pressure rise at will. Now I think that all my light headedness is due to my anxiety, could't be the blood pressure since I can control that. WHAT??? I can control my blood pressure with my mind. I am very powerful, clearly high blood pressure is controllable simply by mind control....Never heard of this ability by those suffering High Blood Pressure, but Hey, a doctor said so, therefore it must be true...Right????

Excellent Treatment

I read the previous review indicating the stay in the emergency room. People have to understand that the more critical are cared for first.

I've been in JPS several times over the past 5 years and only experienced 1 bad incident. All others, the emergency room, icu and nursing staff have been excellent.

Too bad there is no negative star

This emergency room is where you walk in, but you don't walk out. You will spend the majority of the time in the waiting room, I mean 10 hours or more with life threatening illness's. Both of my parents died at JPS, one at 55 and the other at 67. If you do not have a fever, they overlook you. Not everyone that has a life threating illness has a fever?? There is a lot of staff standing around doing nothing, and alot of pateints sitting in the emergency room. I would never send anyone there. Do yourself a favor, and get as far away from this ER as you possibly can.
